Dr. Ronald Michaelson attended University of Michigan and Wayne State University. After graduating from the University Of Detroit Dental School in 1968, he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corp until 1970. Dr. Michaelson completed his residency at the University of New York at Buffalo, and in 1972 began private endodontic practice in Dearborn, MI.

Dr. Michaelson is a Life Member of the following:

  • American Association of Endodontists, Michigan Association of Endodontists
  • American Dental Association
  • Michigan Dental Association
  • Fellow of American College of Dentistry
  • Board of Directors, Michigan Association of Endodontists, 1991 – 2009
    Treasurer, 2002 – 2004
    President, 2004 – 2005

Dr. Michaelson is also an associate Clinical Professor of Endodontics at University of Michigan, Endodontic department.

Dr. Michaelsons’ hobbies include running marathons, biking and skiing. He and his wife Jackie have been married for more than 48 years. They have two sons, Jefferey and Jeremy. Jefferey, an orthopedic surgeon is married with four children. Jeremy is an endodontist with 2 children.
